'Heroes Reborn' Will Have A Super-Sized Series Premiere

Make sure you have two hours to spare on September 24.

Save the cheerleader, save the world, and save some extra space on your DVRs if you're not planning to watch the "Heroes Reborn" premiere live as it happens — because we just found out that it's bigger than we initially thought.

The return of "Heroes" to NBC will come in the form of a two-hour series premiere on September 24, airing from 8:00PM to 10:00PM, according to Variety. What's more, "Heroes Reborn" will screen next month at the Toronto Film Festival, ahead of its small-screen debut. Horn-rimmed 3-D glasses will not be necessary, but are encouraged.

It's the first round of "Heroes" action since the show went off the air in 2010, ending after only four seasons. Many of the main players from the original go-around are off the grid for "Heroes" 2.0, including Milo Ventimiglia as Peter Petrelli and Hayden Panettiere as Claire Bennet — but both Peter's mom Angela (Christine Rose) and Claire's dad Noah (Jack Coleman) are back in action for the reboot, alongside a mix of veterans and newcomers alike.

The only bad news about the two-hour "Heroes Reborn" premiere? It means the season three premiere of "The Blacklist" has been pushed back one week. This is only bad news if you're (1) a fan of "The Blacklist" and (2) one of the people responsible for the delay, because now you're going to have to worry about Red Reddington knocking down your door.
