'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even....no, wait, that's wrong. There's plenty of stirring going on in "The Night Before," a festive new comedy from Seth Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anthony Mackie.
MTV News visited the set of the movie to catch up with its stars and see what all the fake-snow fuss was about.
"We play three friends, best friends since high school and we go out every year on Christmas," Rogen said.
Rogen and Gordon-Levitt reunite with "50/50" director Jonathan Levine on the movie. Levine explained, "It's really about three friends and what it means to evolve with your friends."
As the jolly trio has one last Christmas Eve adventure, they grapple with their changing lives and whether they're too old for their antics. Most notably, as we saw in the trailers for the film, there's a looooot of drug use in the movie. Which was lucky for Rogen, considering he and the cast had to film in Christmas sweaters through a sweltering New York City summer.
"My character's on drugs a lot of the movie, so I have an excuse to be sweaty," he said.
"Your character's on drugs?" Gordon-Levitt laughingly asked.

"The Night Before" hits theaters November 25.
