Castiel Answered Our Prayers -- Jensen Ackles Is FINALLY On Instagram

Because even hunters like to snap selfies.

At long last, the one and only Dean Winchester joined Instagram yesterday (Aug. 8), and the world rejoiced. Although he hasn't been verified yet, "Supernatural" star Jensen Ackles shared his first post on his verified Twitter, so we know it's legit. (Hop to it, Instagram!)

Jensen with his absolutely adorable daughter Justice Jay (JJ) Ackles.

He claims to have created an account to "squash some posers," as he eloquently puts it. Good for him! We're tired of all the fake accounts, and it's nice to know the REAL Jensen Ackles has another social media platform for fans to stalk follow.

One of Ackles's co-stars, Richard Speight, Jr. (Gabriel/The Trickster), was only too quick to poke fun at his announcement on Twitter. The "Supernatural" bromances get better everyday.

And in case you can handle even more preciousness, his wife Danneel joined Instagram, too! She also needs to be verified. (Hint, hint, Instagram!)

ICYMI, Sam Winchester is ALSO on Instagram! Jared Padalecki joined Aug. 5, having shared two photos thus far. His first photo promotes his #AlwaysKeepFighting campaign, which encourages everyone who is battling mental illness or having dark thoughts to never, ever give up.

The caption reads, "My first Instagram post !!! After y'all got behind the #AlwaysKeepingFighting campaign in such a big way, I wanted to find ways to stay even closer to yall. So... Why not start instagramming?! Will try do this thing properly😎"

Padalecki told Variety back in March, "I, for a long time, have been passionate about people dealing with mental illness and struggling with depression, or addiction, or having suicidal thoughts and, strangely enough, it’s almost like the life I live, as well."

His second photo is a classic #TBT pic, but in a different kind of way.

The caption reads, "Remember these?! 😂 #tbt"

And while we're at it, might as well see what Misha Collins has been up to on Instagram lately. Unlike his co-stars, he's no stranger to the app, having posted over 150 pictures so far. He recently shared a selfie of himself with a clogged toilet, because of course he would.

Before that, he snapped another selfie of himself, this time "bloodied." The post was promoting Collins's charity Random Acts, which plans "to conquer the world, one random act of kindness at a time." The non-profit organization is "dedicated to funding and inspiring acts of kindness around the world."

The caption reads, "It's been a rough day. Can you cheer me up by helping @randomactsorg win $500k? Tweet or IG "I #vote @randomactsorg as my favorite nonprofit #upgradeyourworld" once a day until the 23rd."

Welcome to the world of Instagram, Jensen (and Danneel and Jared)! We look forward to all the funny, cute, and weird pics you'll post.
