It may be a while before we get to hear any new Sky Ferreira music, since the 23-year-old is still prepping her sophomore album, Masochism. But to tide us over until then, we CAN see Sky make her big screen debut in the upcoming horror flick “The Green Inferno.”
The Eli Roth-directed thriller tells the sick story of a group of student activists who get kidnapped by a cannibalistic Amazon tribe they’re trying to protect. In a new clip, we see Sky as Kaycee, the protagonist’s best friend, who hugs her bud goodbye before the ill-fated mission to the rainforest.
While the first clip is devoid of any bloody, cannibal carnage, the film’s full trailer makes sure it’ll leave you cringing and squirming. Consider this a warning.
After first screening at the Toronto International Film Festival two years ago, “The Green Inferno” is finally slated for a Sept. 25 release. Until then, expect Sky to continue prepping her follow-up to Night Time, My Time, which already includes the stellar lead single “Guardian.”
