Welcome to the world of pop music, Hailee Steinfeld! We are so glad you have arrived.
The "Pitch Perfect 2" actress just released her debut single, "Love Myself," a self-empowerment anthem that packs a real hard pop punch.
Hailee comes out strong, delivering a song that not only shows off her impressive vocals, but gives us a club-ready track that everyone will be dancing to for the rest of the summer.
"I'm gonna put my body first/ And love me so hard 'til it hurts/ I know how to scream out the words/ Scream the words," she sings on the track produced by Mattman & Robin.
The song gives off some serious Icona Pop "I Love It" vibes as Hailee chants "I Love Me" over a chorus that will no doubt be stuck in your head for days. "Can't help myself, no, I don't need anybody else/ Anytime, day or night/ (I love me)," she sings.
"‘Love Myself’ is my first-ever debut single,” she recently told Ryan Seacrest. “It is ultimately about taking care of and indulging yourself. Though it’s nice to have someone provide for you — whether that be emotionally, or physically, or with material things — this song really represents the power in providing for yourself.”
Hailee, who recently teamed up with Shawn Mendes for an ah-mazing acoustic performance of his track "Stitches," is slated to drop her album later this year.
And it seems like fans, or Steinfans, are 100% on board with her empowering message in her new single.
