Amid all the hype around Demi Lovato’s certifiably sizzling new anthem, “Cool for the Summer,” it’s easy to forget that the multi-talented beauty also has another exciting project in the pipeline: her upcoming animated film, “Charming.”
Demi joined the musical comedy back in February, but further details about her co-stars have been kept well under wraps — until now, that is.
Avril Lavigne and Ashley Tisdale will voice Snow White and Cinderella, respectively, and Chinese pop star G.E.M. is also on board to play Sleeping Beauty. They’ll join Demi, who plays the female lead, Lenore, in the comedy about what happens after the princesses discover they’re all engaged to the same prince.
Avril shared her excitement on Instagram today (Aug. 5), writing, “Triple Trouble! SO excited to join my girls @ddlovato & @AshleyTisdale in @CharmingMovie!! It's gonna be a BLAST! You guys ready!?”
In addition to her voice work, Demi is also executive producing the film’s music score. An announcement about who will voice Prince Charming is expected to come soon… stay tuned!
