We've been loving recent news about cops doing good in their communities and crowds totally crushing Silento's signature "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)" dance, so this latest story is relevant to all of our current interests. In what may prove the Universe's ultimate mashup of the two subjects, an NYPD police officer was recently captured busting a pretty legit Whip and Nae Nae with locals at a Bed Stuy, Brooklyn block party.
According to the New York Daily News, the cop's name is Officer James Ferrazzo of the 79th Precinct. Daiyana Gordon, who uploaded the now-viral video to YouTube, told the Daily News that Officer Ferrazzo didn't just stop at jamming to Silento's sweet beats. "Officer James Ferrazzo and his partner were awesome the entire day. They threw footballs with the kids and shared in the festivities," she said. "We need them in our communities. We need young people to admire and look up to them, not fear them."
Just try not to crack a huge smile while watching the video. We dare you.
