Carly Rae Jepsen Will Get Your Heart Pumping With ‘Warm Blood’: Listen

You better be in the mood to dance.

Carly Rae Jepsen's album is shaping up to be a collection of pure pop hits.

The singer just released her new single, "Warm Blood," an '80s-style, electro-pop, synth track that makes you want to instantly hit the dance floor.

Warning, you may end up looking like the single art if you dance too hard.

The latest track to be released off her upcoming album, E.MO.TION, was produced and co-written by Vampire Weekend's Rostam Batmangli. The mid-tempo, breezy single shows off Carly's lower register of her voice as she sings about letting go of your inhibitions and giving yourself over to love against your better judgement. Like she says "my heart is pumping" after taking a listen.

"Warm blood feels good, I can't control it anymore/ Sweet one, you should stop me there but I keep on talking/ I would throw in the towel for you, boy/ Cause you lift me up and catch me when I'm falling for you," she sings on the song."

This is the fifth song -- including “I Really Like You”, “Run Away With Me,” “Your Type,” and the title track -- Carly has released off her second album, which drops Aug. 21. It can't come soon enough!
