1. They both feature prominent characters named Snow who've snared up a lot of enemies with their controversial leadership decisions;
2. They share not one but two actresses -- Natalie Dormer as Margaery Tyrell in "GoT" and Cressida in "Mockingjay" and Gwendoline Christie as Westeros' badass Brienne of Tarth and Panem's Commander Lyme;
3. And they each boast rapt audiences who can be found cosplaying in their bedrooms on any given Wednesday and otherwise raising the bar on fandemonium.
And, at last, the Katniss vs. Jon Snow extravaganza has made its way into our lives by way of "The Hunger Game of Thrones: Jon Snow Must Die," and, as expected, it's pretty great.
"Nothing good is safe while Snow's alive," says Katniss, borrowing a phrase from herself "Mockingjay - Part 2." "[Jon] Snow has to pay for what he's done."
Her subsequent crowd-riling speech about toppling the corruption of the Capitol (another name for the Wall?), a few fiery explosions, a quick flashy reminder that "GoT" too had a badass archer gal (Ygritte) on squad, and the fact that even her leather battle uniform is hardly a stark contrast to Jon Snow's feather-topped gear firm up the connection. Not to mention, it all leaves us terribly confused over whether we're Team Katniss or Team Jon Snow because that is just CRUEL.
