Like the rest of us, James Franco is kind of obsessed with Lana Del Rey. But, unlike the rest of us, James Franco is a movie star and author/poet who can actually do something about it. And, because he's so James Franco is hurts, his way of doing something about it is to co-author a book about the "Honeymoon" singer in which he has both real and imagined conversations with LDR.
What's it called? Duh. "Flip-Side: Real And Imaginary Conversations With Lana Del Rey." The 100-page book is a follow-up to a poem Franco wrote about Del Rey for V magazine earlier this year in which he wrote, "When I watch her stuff/ when I listen to her stuff/ I am reminded of everything I love about Los Angeles."
The book, co-authored with David Shields ("Reality Hunger," "The Thing About Life Is That One Day You’ll Be Dead") is due out in March 2016.
For real, they're totally pals.
