'Teen Wolf' Twist: Did Malia's Own Mother Try To Kill Her?

And better yet, who is the Desert Wolf?

We're not sure what's more concerning: Malia's flashbacks of the accident that killed her adoptive mother and sister or the fact that she's practically canoodling with the enemy.

On Monday night's episode of "Teen Wolf," Theo -- the same lone lycanthrope who has it in with the Dread Doctors and breaks arms for fun -- cornered the werecoyote in the BHHS library and offered to take her on a little driving lesson down a dark and deserted street. Malia obliged, and sparks flew between the two (or maybe it was just the sexy music). But WHAT ABOUT STILES? Oh, he was busy super-sleuthing around Eichen House with his ex-crush. We digress.

M's romantic car ride with T was cut short by a flashback from that night -- the evening that has haunted her 24/7 since she was nine years old. Turns out, perhaps it wasn't her wolfing-out episode that caused the crash, killing her adoptive fam. It was the enigmatic Desert Wolf -- aka Malia's biological mother -- shooting at the vehicle. While Malia's guilt may have been lifted, that annoying question still remains: Who is the Desert Wolf? And was she actually trying to murder Malia?

We do know this: The Dread Doctors' book likely triggered those memories. According to Valack, those evil MDs have a way of worming their way into people's heads. Should she tell Stiles and Braeden about the flashback in the hopes of tracking down the Desert Wolf? Of course, she would then have to admit she was making friends with Theo, and we know Stiles wouldn't like THAT. Such a sticky situation.
