Taylor Swift decided to celebrate her leading nine VMA nominations by reminding us why she's such a badass.

The singer posted a throwback behind-the-scenes clip from "Bad Blood," which is nominated for Video of the Year, and in it, she shows off her fighting skills, putting aside any doubt that she didn't do all her own stunts.

"Throwback to my first day of fight training for the Bad Blood music video," she captioned the pic. "Thank you so much for the 9 nominations. You can vote for Video of the Year NOW!!!"

In the video, Taylor practices her moves for the opening fight scene in the Joseph Kahn-directed clip. She takes on three opponents who prove to be no match for Taylor as she punches, elbows and throws them to floor. FYI -- no one was seriously injured; they're just pretend punches.

Taylor has a TON of VMA nominations, with "Bad Blood," featuring Kendrick Lamar (who is nominated for four Moonmen as a solo artist), getting seven nominations and her video for "Blank Space" grabbing two -- including Best Pop Video. Trailing not too far behind Tay is her bestie Ed Sheeran, who has six nominations and will face off against Taylor in four categories.

The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards will air live from L.A.’s Microsoft Theater at 9 p.m. ET, on Sunday, August 30.
