Our love for Rihanna knows no bounds. She's given us the greatest meme in the world. She's worn a necklace of herself. She's gone to dinner in a crop top. Her latest move, though, is one that we feel, perhaps, most strongly about—turning pajamas into acceptable ~real~ clothes.
Over the weekend, Rihanna emerged on the streets of New York in silk pants, matching robe, lacy bra, and, of course, marabou feather heels. No bedroom outfit is complete without feathery heels, as you probably know. The printed silk robe and matching pants come from Fleamadonna's Spring 2015 collection and together cost about $400, which is definitely way more than most people spend on pajamas, but when you're leading a movement, you have to show 'em how it's done.
Rihanna, actually, has been a crusader for the pajamas-as-real-clothes cause for a while—like, for years.
In 2012, she wore silk pajamas to the Battleship premiere.
At the 2014 MTV Movie Awards, she wore a robe on the red carpet.
And last summer, she wore nightgowns on the reg.
She's even dabbled in other feathery shoes before! Girl is committed.
We support you in practically every way, Rih, but this cause is particularly close to our hearts and we hope you keep at it—you have our full-fledged support.
