It looks like Demi Lovato has officially found her match in boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama.
"I am very, very in love with him. I think—we will probably wait a little bit longer," Demi said of marriage. "But if he asked tomorrow I would say 'yes."
The two have been together for the past five years and have had to deal with several ups and downs, including some people questioning their 12-year age difference.
"I used to, definitely, whenever we were first starting to date about like five years ago, because I was 18 and he was 30, so people were definitely judgmental and even like my parents were kind of like, 'I don't know why someone his age is wanting to date someone so young,' she revealed. "After a while, everyone started to see that what we have is real and incredible and very special and we have been together ever since and now obviously my family love him."
But before the wedding bells, Demi is going to be putting in some serious work, focusing on her new single and her upcoming album, which is set to be released this fall. And her main main will be there every step of the way.
“He’s my happiness. He’s my whole world, so when I’m with him I’m extremely happy,” she recently told New York’s 92.3 AMP Radio.. “I’m able to record music and go out on tour without worries. He completes me…and I actually wasn’t looking for it at the time that I met him and it took a long time for him to see that I was ready for a relationship like we are in today. Love just kind of happens and there’s no timing and there’s no other way to go with it then to prioritize our relationship. Do what makes you happy.”
