Paul Rudd Wears A Fake Mustache And Tells Embarrassing Jon Hamm Stories: Watch

Humiliation, thy name is Hamm.

Paul Rudd knows that some emotional wounds just cut too deep to ever heal -- like, say, being bested at Trivial Pursuit, in front of your crush, by Jon Hamm.

The "Ant-Man" actor opened up about this terrible time in his life on "Late Night with Seth Meyers," reminiscing about the time 20 years ago when he competed for Trivial Pursuit supremacy (and the attention of a certain young lady) against the "Mad Men" star.

"I would roll and be like, 'Uh, Entertainment.' Or 'Sports,'" Rudd said. "Jon, every time he'd roll, he'd be like, 'I want to go to History.' It was the most emasculating-- he'd get a question and he'd get it right every time."

Wait, though, because that's not even the saddest part. That part would be when Paul Rudd sheepishly admits that "[Afterward] I felt so lame, I started reading atlases."

He also wore a fake mustache during the interview, probably to soak up all the tears.
