Sam Smith Says His Throat Is 'Bloody Fantastic'

The singer is ready to go just in time for his U.S. tour.

Sam Smith is officially ready to sing to you -- yes, YOU -- again, Little Sailors. Ahoy!

Smith, whose U.S. tour kicks off in Louisville, Kentucky on Friday (July 17), has announced that his throat is doing very well, two months after he had vocal cord surgery after discovering a "small hemorrhage" in the spring, and that he's ship shape to embark on his journey across America.

"So just want to keep everyone in the loop; I have been in Boston the last few days to have a check up on my throat, before I embark on my American tour," Sam wrote on Instagram Wednesday (July 15) night. "MY THROAT IS LOOKING BLOODY FANTASTIC."

"So it's amazing news. So happy," he continued. "It's going to be a really tough month of shows but I can't wait to see you all, and pray it's going to be a smooth ride. LET'S GO."

So many happy claps!

And speaking of good news, Smith has also announced that he is collaborating with Balenciaga for his first-ever fashion line, with the house launching his collection for Fall/Winter 2015.

"So honoured and ecstatic to announce my collaboration with @BALENCIAGA on the upcoming FW15 Menswear collection!!!!" he tweeted, adding that fans will be able preview the collection "VERY soon."

And just like that, he's diving right back in. And feet first, too.
