Having the chance to sing the national anthem at a major sporting event is a huge honor, but we've seen proof that it can also be a difficult (and sometimes embarrassing) affair. Not for Ciara, though.
On Tuesday night, the R&B singer delivered a flawless rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the 2015 MLB All-Star game.
With the assistance of three backup singers, CiCi wowed the crowd at Cincinnati's Great American Ball Park, and then she documented the experience on Instagram, for fans who might've missed it (or just wanted to enjoy for a second time).
"What An Amazing Experience," she wrote. #Grateful.
She had a strong start
Didn't falter at all
And the grand finale was perfect
Her boyfriend, NFL player Russell Wilson, was certainly proud.
This was a bright spot for Ciara, who seemed to have some less than pleasant words for her former fiancé, Future, one day before she hit the ballpark.
