The Taylor Swift Club: How All Those Models Made Lena Dunham Feel 'Chubby'

But there's no bad blood.

Lena Dunham was totally one of the girls earlier this week at Taylor Swift's 1989 World Tour Concert stop in New Jersey, but her experience standing next to some of the other Swifty Squad members made her feel like the odd woman out.

Dunham -- a.k.a. Lucky Fiori in Swift's "Bad Blood" music video -- was called to the stage to celebrate her Cool Kids Club membership alongside Hailee Steinfeld (Trinity), Lily Aldridge (Frosbyte), Gigi Hadid (Slay-Z), and Taylor Swift (Catastrophe) herself. And the group strutted as she sang their uniting anthem and group-hugged and effectively gave everyone enough goals to last a lifetime.

But instead of it being the best night of her life and making her jump around like a happy kangaroo every time she even thinks about her bae Tay, the moment made her feel kind of down on herself. Booooo.

As reported by E! Online, Dunham spoke at the Film Society of Lincoln Center on Monday (July 13) about her experience joining all those leggy ladies on what basically became a giant catwalk.

"I was so thrilled to support my friend and so displeased to learn about the truth of my own height," she explained, adding that she'd been feeling pretty good about her dimensions before that night.

"I've been feeling pretty tall, feeling pretty sturdy, and it was amazing to me, like, 'Oh, I'm not tall, I'm chubby.' It's different. But I mean, on most days, I feel really great and fine about my body, but I don't think standing next to, like, three supermodels or so is anything even the most confident woman needs to do," Dunham said.

Of course, it's not like this was the first time she'd come into contact with her and Swift's height differential -- or her other friends' for that matter.

In fact, she's spent time with at least some of her "Bad Blood" buddies before, and being around them in social situations didn't make her feel "so strange" then, she said. "But the minute I caught sight of myself in the Jumobtron, I knew something was very wrong."

For what it's worth, we totally beg to differ because (1) Lena is just gawjus no matter what, harrumph, and (2) even if they did tower over her that night it's totally worth taking into account that Lena was the only one not wearing platforms and/or stilettos on that stage.
