The "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" director delivered a s--t ton of donuts to hungry "Star Wars" fans waiting in line outside the dreaded/magical room of wonderment that is known to all geeks as Hall H today (July 10) at San Diego Comic-Con. And ohmygod they looked absolutely delicious. Clearly, Abrams know has the entire Force on his side ahead of today's big "Star Wars" panel at SDCC, and all he had to do was bribe fans with donuts.
Look at this man TAUNTING us with his chocolate donut.
NOT COOL, DUDE-BRO.
Just look at the smile on their tired faces!
Waiting in line to be granted access to Hall H is no effing joke. It take serious commitment and one seriously large bladder.
What about us, J.J.?
Won't somebody think of the press?! Nah. Never. It's OK. We packed our granola bars.
Public perception of him has already started to shift.
Ahhh. So this was a publicity opportunity all along, wasn't it?
Perfect donut is perfect.
I think we all learned a valuable lesson today: nerds will love your movie if you bribe them with donuts because really, who can resist a delicious fried ball of dough. No one, that's who.
Of course, if Abrams really wants to get "Star Wars" fans on his side, maybe he should send BB-8 out next. OH WHAT A LOVELY DAY IT WOULD BE. #FreeBB8.
There's still time, J.J.
