7 Summer Jobs That MUST Exist In The 'Harry Potter' Universe
Sure, Harry Potter has a fabulous Bruce Wayne-style galleon fortune left by his tragically dead parents, but not everybody in the wizarding world is so lucky -- the rest of us working-class witches and wizards (yes, I'm including myself in that statement, you can't tell me my Hogwarts letter didn't just get lost in the mail) need jobs.
Problem is, as great as author J.K. Rowling has been about answering fan questions on Twitter about her beloved childrens' book series, she's been pretty silent on the notion of summer jobs. Come on, Jo, Neville Longbottom has to get his pocket money from somewhere, right?
So until good ol' J.K. throws down some definitive details, it's up to us and our imaginations to wonder what Ron, Hermione, and the other kids at Hogwarts were doing for cash on their summer vacations:
Ministry Of Magic Intern
Couldn't be worse than muggle internships, right?
Defense Against The Dark Arts Tutor
Poor Hogwarts students.
Ollivander's Wand Shop Clerk
Hope you're quick on your feet?
Three Broomsticks Bartender
The drinking age in the Wizarding World is 17, right?
Hogwarts Groundskeeper Assistant
Seems legit.
Magical Menagerie
Best job ever, y/y?
Metamorphagus Babysitter
Sorry for the feels. Actually nope, not sorry.
