'The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air' Would Be Super Messed Up In The World Of 'GTA V'

Not the title sequence you remember.

There are few opening credits as well-known and beloved as those of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air." You can't mess with perfection. But the internet is all about mashing up things that probably shouldn't be mashed up, which (kind of?) explains this shot-by-shot, "Grand Theft Auto V"-themed remake of that famous intro.

YouTube user Merfish created "The Fresh Prince of Rockford Hills," a video that imagines what it would look like if Will Smith were replaced by the popular game's Franklin Clinton:

Sure, it's like 1,000x more violent, but otherwise it's a surprisingly faithful adaptation, as you can see from this side-by-side comparison with the original:

You may remember Merfish from his "GTA" rendering of the "Full House" theme song, which traded a cute young Michelle for the creepy Lester Crest. His YouTube channel has all kinds of "GTA" goodies, and it doesn't look like his theme song project is going to end anytime soon.
