This is exactly what we needed from Austin Mahone.
While fans have been waiting patiently for some sort of release from the smooth singer, he finally dropped "Dirty Work" early, surprising those of us who weren't expecting it until July 10. Let's just say the #Mahomies are feeling blessed right now.
And damn, you might as well call me a Mahomie too, if he keeps this type of music up. "Dirty Work" is a bouncy, funky jam, and if it doesn't make you full-out groove, some part of your body will be moving -- toe tapping, head bopping, elbows chicken-dancing, whatever. The beat is undeniable.
The song premiered on the radio today and is available on iTunes.
If "Dirty Work" is any indication of what Mahone has for us in the future, he's shedding those Justin Bieber comparisons and going more for a Jason Derulo-Nick Jonas vibe.
Austin has yet to put out a full-length album (his last project was 2014's The Secret EP), but "Dirty Work," in all its earworm glory, will hopefully lead the way to an album breakthrough.
