Unless you've somehow managed to avoid seeing Taylor Swift for the past year (rude), it's pretty clear she has an obsession with wearing crop tops and skater skirts. From the stage to the street, girl has worn every possible iteration of this look (matching sets, bold patterns, solid separates, you name it, she's done it) and now she's finally opening up about why she always cops the same ensemb'.
“It’s hard to say when I decided they’re what I want to wear all the time, but I’ll make up my mind, and that’s all you’ll see me wear for two years,” she told People. Considering her style evolution so far, she's already gone through quite a few stages (hi, cowboy-boots-and-flowy-dresses phase), but we have to admit that—as of today—we're feeling this look the most.
“You might recall from 2012 to 2014, you didn’t see me in any outfit that didn’t look like I was straight out of the ’50s. Who knows what it’ll be next.” Perhaps that recent harness and studded Christian Louboutin x Louis Vuitton bag ensemble was a hint of what's to come?
“I never say fierce because I think it should be used lightly and when it’s appropriate, but this is a fierce bag,” she told the mag. “It looks like a weapon. It’s got spikes on it!” Welp, between her badass "Bad Blood" video and new obsession with hardware, it looks like we might have an edgier T Swift in the near future. \m/
