Remember the days when the only thing you wanted to do was listen to your "Disneymania" CD on repeat? Well, thanks to the internet, now we can listen to each and every "Disneymania" track on repeat, including the instantly ~iconic~ Disney Channel Circle of Stars collaborations.
The tracks united our fave Disney Channel stars with some of the most beloved Disney songs. The House of Mouse kicked things off in 2003 with a star-studded cover of "The Lion King" classic "Circle of Life." For many a '00s kid, this is considered peak Disney Channel.
So, without further ado, let's take a look back on Disney's Circle of Stars and see where they rank on our definitive list:
"Do You Wanna Build A Snowman?"
First things first, the new Disney kids on the block aren't last on this list because they're new, per se, but rather because of the contrived nature of the video. One of things we loved about the older Circle of Stars videos was the fact that they seemed like a lot of fun. It's just a super cool music video starring all of your friends. But Disney's latest entry, a cover of the "Frozen" hit "Do You Wanna Build a Snowman?," fell flat. That's not to say the vocal performances weren't on point. Sabrina Carpenter, as per usual, sounded fantastic, and for the first time, there were Disney parents in the mix. How progressive!
"Circle of Life"
It's not hyperbolic at all to say that A.J. Trauth's small part at 1:58 was the moment our lives were changed forever, right? (That growly voice!) This video united all of our OG Disney favorites -- Raven-Symoné, Christy Carlson Romano, Hilary Duff and more -- to cover one of the greatest Disney classics of all-time. How could it not be epic? However, the real star of this video is Raven's pink tie-dye jumpsuit. That's so Raven!
"A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes"
Any video featuring The Tis automatically gets bumped up a notch on our list. Lead once again by Raven-Symoné, "A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes" features some very notable additions: Ashley Tisdale, Brenda Song, Dylan and Cole Sprouse and our former fictional boyfriend Ricky Ullman (on the drums!). As much as we cherish the beauty that is "Circle of Life," this video just gives our favorites more to do. Who knew Dylan and Cole could sing!
"Send It On"
One word: Niley. "Send It On" isn't just the best Disney Channel video because it paired the Jonas Brothers with three of the most influential pop stars the House of Mouse has ever produced -- Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato -- but it's also the only original song of the bunch. (And even if it's not ~technically~ a Circle of Stars video, we're still counting it.) But seriously, this video is all about Nick and Miley's crazy chemistry... and Demi's insane vocals... and Joe's curly mop of hair (RIP me)... and Kevin's adorable little part on the bridge. Yep, it's pretty much perfect.
