Rick Ross Has Been Denied Bail As More Details About Assault Emerge

The MMG CEO is still behind bars.

Rick Ross was arrested on Wednesday, June 24, after reportedly assaulting a groundskeeper at his Fayette County, Georgia home, and the MMG CEO is still being held in police custody.

Billboard reports that the rapper, born William Leonard Roberts II, has been denied bail bond.

Ross is facing kidnapping, aggravated assault and aggravated battery charges, after he and his bodyguard, Nadrian James, reportedly pistol whipped Jonathan Zamudio and held him against his will.

A warrant issued by Fayette County police provided more details about the arrest.

"Subject did assault the victim, Jonathan Zamudio, (twice), with a handgun, specifically a Glock 17, 9mm, black in color, and in doing so caused two chipped teeth, jaw injury, neck injury, and multiple scratches and contusions," the warrant reads.

"The victim lost the use of his jaw and is restricted to soft foods and liquid diet only as result of not being able to chew food."

The warrant further detailed that the victim was "questioned under duress and forced to answer questions at gunpoint" and that he was forcibly held against in Ross' home, where they used "a handgun and physical touching to force, against his will, Jonathan Zamudio into the residence (guest house)... he was taken down a hallway, into a bedroom, and forced to remain."

Earlier in June, Rick Ross was arrested in Fayette County on a misdemeanor drug charge, when police officers pulled him over while driving.
