Jon Snow And Melisandre Are Reuniting Onscreen… But Not For ‘Game Of Thrones’

Kit Harington has replaced Robert Pattinson in the new thriller 'Brimstone.'

Good news, “Game of Thrones” fans and Kit Harington hair enthusiasts: Jon Snow may be (spoiler?) dead, but now he’s bringing his broodiness to the big screen.

The 28-year-old actor has just replaced Robert Pattinson in the thriller “Brimstone,” in which he’ll play an outlaw who “has a crucial role in the tale of retribution.”

Dun dun dun! What we’d really like to see is Jon Snow coming back to life and raining down retribution by punishing Olly and company for Julius Caesar-ing him. But this will have to do.

Harington joins leading lady Dakota Fanning (she recently replaced Mia Wasikowska), who portrays a woman on the run from an evil preacher (Guy Pearce). The role will also reunite Harington with his “Game of Thrones” costar Carice van Houten, a.k.a. the creepy Melisandre. No word yet on whether she will try and fail to seduce him again.

Principle photography on the Martin Koolhaven-directed film is already underway, and it will reportedly shoot in Romania, Spain and Germany. So at least Harington is done with filming in the freezing cold snow… that is, if he’s really done being a Crow and all (still sailing on Denial River over here, TBH).
