During this season of "Teen Mom OG," viewers were treated to an intimate look at the young mothers and their kiddos interacting with the long-running series' various production teams. But these unique connections weren't forged in a day: The behind-the-scenes folks have been involved in the parents' lives for years -- some even formed connections with Maci, Amber, Catelynn and Farrah during the inaugural season of "16 and Pregnant." So how do the ladies describe their bonds with the producers and the crew?

“They’re like family,” Amber told MTV News in the video above. "They’re like distant cousins that come every other week.”

Cate echoes A's sentiments and reveals that her former producer Kiki is actually her daughter's godmother. “They have a special relationship already,” the Michigan natives dishes.

Meanwhile, Maci enjoys watching her firstborn play with the people who bring the MTV series to life. “I love to see Bentley interact with the crew because they’re so good with him," the Tennessean says.
