Lil Wayne Might Actually Be Ok With The Title Of Young Thug's Next Mixtape

Thugger is linking up with London on da Track.

Just two months after releasing Barter 6, Young Thug is getting ready to drop another project -- and this one might not upset Lil Wayne.

Or, at least, not as much as his last one.

On Sunday night, Thugger posted what looks like a mixtape cover for Slime Season, which will be a collab project between the Atlanta rapper and London on da Track. "The tape OTW !! Who's ready?" he wrote.

The two have worked together a number of times recently, often with memorable results: Rich Gang's "Lifestyle"; T.I.'s "About the Money"; Tyga's "Hookah"; plus four songs on Thugger's Barter 6.

And it's that April project that caused tension with Tunechi. After all, the album, which was originally titled Carter 6, arrived before Wayne's Tha Carter V, and featured Birdman, who runs the Cash Money, which is the label Weezy is currently tussling with over CV.

This is a bit of a change of plans for Thug, who just last month announced plans to drop a mixtape called Tha Carter V.

“I’ma drop one more mixtape [before my album],” he said. “I’ll probably name it Tha Carter V, ’cause the original Carter V still ain’t came out yet. I don’t know what the f--k they doing. So I’ma put that motherf--ker out for ’em.”

No word yet on when Slime Season will be released, but according to London, we should know tomorrow.
