"Jurassic World" hits theaters 22 years to the week after the original "Jurassic Park" roared onto movie screens worldwide, and the events on-screen take place 22 years later as well. The park is alive and thriving, preparing to unveil a new, terrifying, genetically modified dinosaur. Things are the same as ever -- except a few notable paleontologists are missing.
Where are Satler, Grant and the crew?
We asked the "Jurassic World" cast where they thought their original cast counterparts were, 22 years later. Bryce Dallas Howard thought they were probably in the advocacy business.
"They're probably writing a lot of op-eds," she said. "'This is not OK and I'm going to tell you why, and we just see a disaster coming.'"
Pratt saw psychoanalysis in the crew's future.
"I'd imagine Grant and Satler are somewhere in therapy, especially Grant," he said.
"Jurassic World" hits theaters June 12.
