This Video Takes 'GTA V' To Real-Life Los Angeles Streets

Thankfully no one dies in this version.

The "Grand Theft Auto" video game series has always gotten a bad rap since it's so true to life. (What if kids emulate it? Will someone PLEASE think of the children?!)

"GTA V", the latest installment in the series, takes place in a barely fictionalized and faithfully recreated version of Los Angeles and the surrounding SoCal area. Naturally, the geniuses over at Corridor Digital filmed their own version of the game in the very real L.A. area.

The vid includes stops at Venice Beach and the Getty Museum. Of course, there's plenty of "GTA"-style mayhem along the way. Check out action-packed video below ... and don't try this at home.
