Nicki Minaj is a woman of many talents and early next year she'll be bringing some more of those skills to the big screen.

The YMCMB rapper will appear in "Barbershop 3" alongside Ice Cube, Common, Eve and Cedric the Entertainer and in a new behind the scenes clip, we get a glimpse of her working as a hairdresser.

The black and white preview is shot on the set of the movie and we can see the actors joking and having fun while filming and also in between scenes. In two separate shots, we see Nicki Minaj working on hair extensions for a customer and cheekily counting her money.

Nicki will be appearing in the film as the new hairdresser named Draya and from what we've seen in this footage, she seems to be fitting right in.

This will be a much bigger role for Nicki, after appearing briefly in "The Other Woman" alongside Cameron Diaz last year. Ahead of that film's debut, Nicki told MTV News that the cameo got her excited to do more acting.

“It gave me an idea as to what [that] world would be like and now that I know it’s something I can do," she said. "I think I want to expand a role eventually."
