In case you haven't noticed, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are almost always decked in funeral-ready fashions because these girls, they love to wear head-to-toe black. Everywhere.
No, seriously. Everywhere.
Last night (June 1), the girls stepped out together for the 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards and guess what?

Yet again. Dripping ink, top to bottom.
So, to celebrate their sartorial bleak streak, we decided to take a look back at all of the Olsen Twins' passion for black fashion and devise this definitive ranking of all of their darkwear.
-
The 2015 Met Gala, when they both went for the gothic opulence approach.

All they needed were some swanky cigarette holder thingymabobs and they'd be a pair of monochromatic Cruella de Vils.
-
And here, when they were 23 but dressed up like 83 year olds.
Getty Images
Much too much. Drab.
-
This winter event, with their swanky black coats.

Equipped matching black purses, of course. (But Kudos to Ash for sneaking in a teensy bit of color with the skirt.)
-
And here, with so many layers of gloom garb.
Getty Images
How many articles of black do you count between them? (Answer: Too many.)
-
And this time when they let in a little hued accessory action.
Getty Images
We spy red, gold, cream and mint green in there. Shocker!
-
And at last year's CFDA Awards, they totally went for the Jackie-O-at-a-wake look.

Fancysad.
-
Here, they gave us a little ankle and wrist action to go with all those black threads.
Getty Images
Ooooh la la.
-
That time they let some glitter and texture into the mix.
Getty Images
Hey, they've got a thing, and they stick to it.
-
Jeweled shoes and lacy stockings make all the difference?
Getty Images
If you say so.
-
And then look at the mary-janes and buttons and string things.
Getty Images
Otherwise? Same. Like, they pretty much could be recycling the same outfit to each and every event and we wouldn't know it.
-
Also, there was this fashion show front row where they totally looked like twins!
Getty Images
Oh riiiiiiight.
-
Here they had white polka dots and (gasp!) red shoes to mix it up.
Getty Images
At this point, it's almost weirder when there's even a flicker of something else.
-
This time, when they got in on the funky collar game.
Getty Images
And they even matched purses and shades. D'awwww.
-
Yes, that is a multi-colored blazer you see.
Getty Images
Of course, there is still a black dress underneath, but still! Actual colors.
-
And remember when they were babies and wore their hair differently?
Getty Images
Sweet meets fierce. The good old days.
-
And this time, when there was a second tone on top.
Getty Images
Fresh, young, and lovely. This pairing was all kinds of yes.
-
Plus, this front row event when they were glowing with cute.
Getty Images
Not a pout in sight. Like.
-
Oh, how they slayed with these layers.

They stuck with the nightly program and yet still made it new. LOVE.
Then at the 2014 Met Gala, they went floor-length and full-sleeve.
