Elvis might've been all too happy to call himself a hunka hunka burning love, but there's another dreamy brunette boy who's put that phrase squarely into the no-no pile.
"Game of Thrones" star Kit Harington has declared that, where he is concerned at least, "hunk" is totally a four letter word. And his reasoning for disliking the term is actually pretty legit.
"I dislike the word 'hunk,'" he explained to ScreenRant. "I've been asked about it a lot ... Someone said, 'Do you like being referred to as a hunk?' And I went, 'No, I don't like being referred to as a hunk.'"
Which means we'll just have to come up with other wordy ways to compliment his good looks, right?
See, for Harington, it seems to be the whole concept of the looks-centric noun that gets his knickers in a twist.
"It's a f---ing ridiculous thing to be referred to as," Harington added to explain his issue with the term. "It's like calling a girl a 'babe.' It’s frankly offensive."
Which means dish, dreamboat, knockout, stunner, and stud are probably all off the table too and now we need to reevaluate our entire Kit Harington-related vocab. Stay tuned.
