Everything We Know About 'American Horror Story: Hotel' And Its Sexy Cast

Are Lady Gaga and Matt Bomer Starbucks lovers or what?

"American Horror Story: Hotel" may seem like a million years away right now, but the clues keep trickling in.

In short, here's what we know about "AHS" season five: starring Lady Gaga, the fifth installment of the frightening franchise will take place in -- yep, you guessed it -- a hotel run by Kathy Bates. Production is set to take place in Los Angeles, leading some astute fans to believe that "AHS" will once again journey into the past -- back to the Golden Age of Hollywood.

While "AHS" maestro Ryan Murphy has yet to confirm or deny this popular theory, he has been (slowly, but surely) announcing the cast of season five on social media. Gaga is undoubtedly the star, taking the reigns from HBIC Jessica Lange, but as per usual, the cast of majorly attractive supporting characters is wildly intriguing.

As the anticipation for "Hotel" builds, let's just take a minute to appreciate this sexy af cast. A previous version of this story was published without this season's most recent addition, Finn Wittrock. We'll be adding more "Hotel" residents as they're announced.

Lady Gaga Goes Blond For '

So far, the only thing we know about Gaga's character is her devotion to platinum blond hair. Given her status as this season's starring ingénue, Gaga is almost certainly a final girl in whatever twisted plan Murphy has for "Hotel."

The golden age of filmmaking is the perfect setting for a Hollywood horror. Plus, it has Lady Gaga’s name -- and freshly blond locks -- written all over it. As for the hotel in question, the Garden of Allah hotel, which was demolished in 1959, is a good bet. Not only was it referenced in "Freak Show," but its location on the Sunset Strip made it the celebrity hotspot of its day.

Matt Bomer

"I know that I’ll be working with Stefani [Germanotta], Lady Gaga, pretty extensively, so I’m excited about that,” Bomer told MTV News in April, implying that he might be a potential love interest for Gaga's character. "Our storyline is really, really fun, and I think what they're doing with our characters is really unique and kind of an original take on it." Does this means they're Hollywood lovers? Bitter co-stars? Starbucks lovers?! We're literally dying to find out.

Sarah Paulson

Sarah Paulson

Paulson will play "the baddest bad girl of them all," per Murphy. Does this mean she's this season's Big Bad? It would be a first for Paulson -- and a treat for us mere mortals who bask in the glory of Paulson's fierceness.

Evan Peters

FX

Evan Peters

Murphy announced that Evans will be waiting for us in "Room 64" when "American Horror Story: Hotel" premieres this fall. Either he's a permanent human resident of the hotel, or he's a ghost. Our money is on the latter.

Kathy Bates

FX

Kathy Bates

It looks like Bates is the actual HBIC this season, as her character is "running the Hotel."

Angela Bassett

FX

Angela Bassett

Bassett's character "will be making lots of trouble with Lady Gaga in the ballroom and elsewhere." Okay, so we know at least a ballroom is involved in the drama this season. Given Gaga's obvious talents -- plus those of her co-stars -- it seems pretty likely that a performance or two are in the cards.

Murphy revealed that the "arcane" Top Hat clue in season four was a reference to the classic 1935 film "Top Hat," starring silver screen legends Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Could "AHS: Hotel" have all of the glitz and glam of a Old Hollywood movie musical? We sincerely hope so.

Wes Bentley

We don't know anything about Bentley's character other than hello eye-candy.

Chloe Sevigny

Chloe Sevigny

The breakout star of "American Horror Story: Asylum" will return to wreck more havoc in "Hotel."

Cheyenne Jackson

Cheyenne Jackson

Again, more eye-candy. However, we know this Broadway star has major skills on the dance floor, so Jackson's casting only adds more proof to our haunted Old Hollywood musical theory.

Max Greenfield

Murphy teased that the "New Girl" star will appear "like you’ve never seen him" and promised that though he'll be checking in to the hotel, he won’t be checking out. Yep. He's a goner. Sorry, Schmidt.

Finn Wittrock

According to Murphy, "Freak Show" breakout Wittrock will be checking into "Hotel" this fall, and he'll be competing for Gaga's affections. "Who will Gaga choose -- Finn or Matt Bomer?" Murphy teased. Now THAT'S one incredibly sexy threesome.

Emma Roberts

FX

Murphy hasn't officially tweeted anything about Roberts' casting yet, but Zap2it reports that the "Scream Queens" actress will return for the next installment of "AHS." Per Murphy, Roberts' character "comes at the end. She comes and she has a great thing with Evan Peters at the end." Hmm. Interesting. It appears that Roberts and Peter will join the long list of celebrity exes who worked together post-split. Roberts will reportedly start filming in October, once she wraps filming on "Scream Queens."
