Dillon Francis Wants You To Practice 'Safe Sets' This Music Festival Season

Wait, what's 'safe sets?'

If you're anything like us, you're getting prepped for this summer's festival season. Whether you're gearing up to go to Bonnaroo or Lollapalooza, or heading up to Bethel Woods, NY to hit Mysteryland this weekend there are some things you need to consider before jumping in the crowd -- just ask Dillon Francis.

The DJ/Producer knows the dangers that festival-goers face first-hand, so he teamed with MTV to shoot a very important P.S.A.

"Hey this is Dillon Francis and this festival season, please, practice safe sets," Francis warns. "Put condoms in your ears, I swear it will help you."

Wait, what?! Condoms?! In your ears?! Oh, that was a joke -- good one Dillon.

But on a more serious note, Francis suggests that you pack some ear plugs when you go checkout your favorite band. While, there is nothing like rocking out to a Diplo live set, exposure to loud music all day can have some pretty damaging effects.

In 2013, WLRN, a South Florida-based news site went to Ultra Music Festival measured that sounds reached as high as 94 decibels. Over the course of an entire weekend, that could be a bit much, so don't be reckless, go and practice safe sets.
