It looks like the Osbournes are gearing up for an MTV comeback -- but it's not exactly what you think.
Ten years after revolutionizing reality television with "The Osbournes," Sharon O. and her daughter Kelly are set to grace the Viacom airwaves together again -- and this time around, "Pitch Perfect 2" star Brittany Snow is coming along for the ride.
The mother-daughter duo and the actress are just some of the famous faces joining a newly ordered pilot with the working title "Fancy Bastards"; it's an animated comedy centered on the lives of five awkward outcasts who learn they all share the same father -- a notorious ginger cad who had an indiscretion-filled night in Vegas nine years before. Oh, and he just happens to be a prince.
Also featured on the show will be Natasha Leggero (from "Neighbors"), Nasim Pedrad ("SNL"), John Roberts ("Bob's Burgers"), Jameeliah Garrett ("Supanatural") and Jessica Lowe ("Blended"). The pilot was executive-produced by Jason Micallef and Kristen Schaal as well as Underground’s Josh Turner McGuire and Trevor Engelson; it was written by Price Peterson, Ryan Sandoval and Lily Sparks, who also serve as executive producers.
And since the show will feature one prince, we couldn't help but think of a couple of others: Ozzy Osbourne (aka "The Prince of Darkness") and son Jack. While it seems the duo won't be joining their family's latest adventure, we've got our fingers crossed for at least one Oz reference in the "Fancy Bastards" premiere:
Okay, at least TWO references:
