If you've walked by a newsstand recently or, like, been on the internet, you may have realized that Rihanna has been on a bevy of magazine covers despite the fact that, uh, she hasn't released an album since 2012. It turns out, there's a reason for that—y'know, beyond the whole ~she has the best face and attitude on planet Earth~ thing. According to WWD, Rihanna is the person to call when you're a magazine with struggling sales.
WWD reports that Rih's gorgeous, golden March cover of Harper's Bazaar increased the magazine's sales by 0.8 percent, increasing newsstand sales to 120,000 and making it the highest-selling magazine for the month.
Turns out, it's not a fluke either—Rih's 2014 Vogue cover outsold this year's by 11.2 percent—which starred Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss.
So, yeah, when all else falters, call up Rihanna—she'll deliver, it's proven.
