Amy Schumer's 'Toddlers And Tiaras' Sketch Is Tragically Hilarious

If you're not already on the Amy Schumer bandwagon, drop everything and go get your moon shoes ready because you're totally about to jump on.

A sketch that the funnylady's been working on for years has finally come through, and it absolutely slays the child pageantry (and the accompanying ruthless parental promotion) game by way of "Babies and Bustiers" -- a direct and hysterical jab at the TLC reality series, "Toddlers and Tiaras."

In the bit, she's Amy Merryweather Sherman, a contestant in the Little Miss Hot as Balls Pageant (yes), who suffers from "Benjamin Button Disease," as her whacked-out mommy dearest Cleopatricia Sherman (Jennifer Coolidge FTW) chooses to call it.

While she's only six-years-old in mind and afflictions, her body has grown into that of a 30-year-old woman (so more like Robin Williams in "Jack" than the "Button" reference, but whatevs). Which makes her temper tantrums especially torrential to everyone except her overbearing (read: batsh*t) mom who only really gives her guff about her snacking habits.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Schumer pegged this sketch one she's been "trying to make happen for three years."

"I wrote this sketch the first season," she explained. "It just seemed like it would be such a pain in the ass to shoot-- the sets, the production, the children. But then this turned into the year we're just living all our dreams, so I was like, let's do it."

We're glad she did. Now we have the phrase "Fetal Red Bull Syndrome" to add to the library. Well done.

The sketch will air in full during Tuesday (May 19)'s new installment of "Inside Amy Schumer," which airs on Comedy Central at 10:30/9:30c.
