Rihanna Outshines Versailles In First Dior Campaign Video

Shine bright, girl.

Even the most beautiful women in the world can get lost in the grandeur of Versailles, but there is nothing Rihanna can't outshine, as evidenced by her stunning debut campaign video for Dior. Shot at the Château de Versailles by Steven Klein, RiRi is at peak cool, serving up her flashiest self as she struts down the gilded hall of mirrors of the estate in thousands of sequins. *studies and memorizes Rihanna's walk*

It's a bold move for Dior, who's last few campaigns have been relatively buttoned up with the poised Jennifer Lawrence delicately presenting the fashion house's handbags. When Rihanna was announced as the brand's new face, though, we had a feeling her first campaign wouldn't exactly be low key. Even the most ~casual~ moments in Rihanna's campaign are eye-popping.

The opening scene shows Rihanna sauntering up a staircase in a LBD and sleek clutch before it cuts to her perfectly executed crimson-lipped beauty look. Aside from how flawless she looks at any given time, one of the main takeaways from the campaign is that there isn't anything Rihanna can't do in a gown–it's basically her second skin. There's Rihanna blazing down the halls in a flowy dress that matches her lipstick and, equally impressive, Rihanna twirling through the gardens at night in a white gown. Just another reason she's a goddess, y'all.
