Class is something you can't teach. Either you have it, or you don't. And on Sunday night (May 17) at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards One Direction proved that they are the four classiest dudes around.

Looking super fly in their matching black suits, the boys were all smiles when they beat out Maroon 5, MAGIC!, Florida Georgia Line and 5 Seconds of Summer for the night's first award: Top Duo/Group.

While they were nominated at a time when 1D was still a gang of five, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Liam Payne took the stage as four to accept the award from Charlie XCX and model Lily Aldridge.

Niall grabbed the trophy from Harry's hands and just said, "Wow." OK, he also said, "This is absolutely incredible. It's an incredible honor to be here and to be in that category with those incredible bands and duos."

He, of course, also thanked the Directioners, calling them "super, super fans." Then it was Liam's turn to thank Billboard and the fans. But then he did something that nobody saw coming and which was, to be honest, just the ultimate good guy move.

"But there's one more person to share this with," he said. "And that's our brother Zayn." Well played, Liam, well played.
