While seeing Kendall Jenner arrive at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards alongside Jourdan Dunn and Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing instead of sister Kylie was surprising, even more surprising was the reason for her company: The trio walked the red carpet together to announce a new Balmain collaboration...with H&M.
When asked about the inspiration for Kendall and Jourdan's outfits, Olivier revealed, "The inspo is the new collection, Balmain and H&M." Ummm. Very nonchalant, Olivier!
Obviously, we are not the only ones freaking out, nor the only ones who had to check Twitter to make sure that, yeah, we heard Olivier correctly.
Notoriously expensive thanks to its heavy embellishments and luxurious fabrics, the collab with H&M means the public will soon be able to cop affordable Balmain designs. More specifically, soon you'll be able to pick up Kendall's monochromatic look or Jourdan's red skirt straight from the nearest H&M.
Following the red carpet announcement, the fashion house revealed we can expect it in stores in November. While November seems like an eternity from now, we're hopeful we'll get more sneak peeks before then.
Plus, now we have time to clean out our closets—we're gonna need a lot of room for the full collection, you know?
