Listen, we've been looong supporters of Rebel Wilson's killer style. From her handmade donut tees to head-to-toe tracksuit looks, we have plenty of reasons to call her a fashion icon, and it looks like major brands are starting to take notice. Yesterday, plus-size retailer Torrid announced their first ever collaboration with–you guessed it–our girl Rebel.
Rebel has always been a purveyor of body positivity (remember how she stood up to beauty norms at the MTV Movie Awards?) so we're super stoked to see her 25-piece capsule collection launch in November. So far, we've only been tipped off to koala print tees as an homage to her Australian roots and microphone-shaped hardware for all her Pitch Perfect fans. The line will include tops, jackets, dresses, bottoms and accessories in sizes 12 through 28 and will range from $28.50–$125 in price.
"I've had a 'torrid' affair with buying clothes all my life," Rebel said in a press release. "I've never really felt like there's a brand out there in the plus size world that is creating cool stuff, that fits well and is good quality yet affordable. It's really only been in the last few years that I've seen companies try. So it was awesome to team with Torrid, who I think are doing such a great job in making plus size fashion relevant and dope. I've been loving designing the clothes for my capsule collection. I've been putting my unique style and personal loves into the clothing and literally can't wait for the collection to launch!"
Even if you're not plus size, it looks like you can still swipe up some pieces from her collection. Rebel tweeted, "Yep, I'm bringing out a clothing line in November! #RebelforTorrid & if you're too skinny for it, you can buy the bag." Whatta gal.
