Kanye West has given the city of Chicago a pretty awesome couple of days.
Just a day after shocking fans at a Chicago Bulls game and on the same day he received his honorary doctorate, Yeezy surprised kids at Chance The Rapper's “Open Mike” event at Reva & David Logan Center for the Arts in Chicago.
A flyer for the event that Chance posted on his Instagram page notes that a high school I.D. was needed for entry. Guess the high school students that filled the venue got more than just an open mic event. They also got to watch their hometown hero Kanye rock the stage.
But that wasn't all. Another video on Twitter shows a portion of “We Don’t Care” being performed. That's classic Yeezy.
After Ye's set, Chance The Rapper offered thanks to friends who made this event a success.
Kanye's having quite a busy month. Before any of this, the MC rocked a packed stadium at "Wango Tango" and decided to change the name of his upcoming album to SWISH. Oh, and he outdid himself for Mother's Day (yet again).
