Cody Simpson and Gigi Hadid have called it quits for the second time. A rep for Gigi confirmed the split in a statement for E! News.

"Cody and Gigi want each other to be in a place right now that allows him to only focus on his music, fans, and new message, while she can focus and continue building her career," the statement reads. "They love each other dearly and have split up in hopes that growing on their own paths will bring them together in the future. They remain friends with no hard feelings and each other's biggest supporters."

Cody, 18, and Gigi, 20, first split in May 2014 after a year of dating, reportedly due to to their busy schedules. However, their breakup was short-lived and they’ve been going strong ever since. Most recently, they gave us major #RelationshipGoals with their slew of FOMO-inducing Coachella pics in April.

Cody is currently working on his album Free, which is slated for release on June 23. Gigi recently gushed about Cody's new music, saying the EP will "show his fans what he can really do."

Meanwhile, Gigi continues her burgeoning career as an in-demand model (and Taylor Swift music video star). She was noticeably flying solo at her first Met Gala appearance on Monday.

Looks like Cody's breakup song, "New Problems," -- which was inspired by his and Gigi's first breakup -- could come in handy right about now.
