Can Amber Rose's 'Sister Code' Help Her Become A Hollywood Film Star?

Rose breaks down how she learned from the film.

Amber Rose is known for her outspoken personality, a celebrated modeling career and for shutting down slut-shamers everywhere. On Friday (May 8), she’s adding a new title to her resume as the star of “Sister Code,” a film she saw as a great opportunity to learn and grow as an actress.

“It was an amazing experience,” Rose told MTV News on Thursday at the premiere of the film at Universal City Walk’s AMC Theaters. “This is like my first really big role and I’m the type of person that absorbs knowledge. I just really got to know the other actors. They’re more seasoned than me. They just taught me more along the way.”

“Sister Code” stars Amber Rose, Eva Marcille and Drew Sidora who act as foster sisters in the Corey Grant-directed film.

In purple carpet interview, Amber also spoke to us about how she and Wiz Khalifa are working to co-parent their son Sebastian “The Bash” Taylor Thomaz and she also addressed those MGK dating rumors.

"Sister Code" hit theaters today (May 8).
