Bargirl is known for fighting crime at night and being a total smarty-pants by day, but ever since the rad makeover she got thanks to DC Comics, her experience has been much different from the rest of the grimdark Bat-family. Now she lives in the trendy neighborhood of Burnside, which is CLEARLY meant to be the Brooklyn to Gotham's Manhattan. Seriously, it's even across a bridge.

Now that Barbara's become a part of the cool crowd, though, it's even easier to relate to her as a character -- odds are that even if you don't live in Brooklyn exactly, you've definitely done a lot of the things that she's done in recent issues of the comic.
