9 'Harry Potter' Couples Who Should Date IRL -- Just Like Luna Lovegood And James Potter

Think about it.

This Thursday (May 7), the "Harry Potter" fandom was turned upside down when actress Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) posted an adorable birthday shoutout pic to Robbie Jarvis (young James Potter). The two had clearly gotten close -- but could it possibly mean that the loony Ravenclaw and ill-fated Gryffindor were dating?!

A brief search of Lynch's Instagram history would definitely suggest yes:

So in honor of this too-good-to-be-true romantical pairing, we've used our brain-hats to sort some other "Potter" singletons into relationship bliss. Here's who should hit up Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop to get to know each other a little better:

  1. Bill Weasley and Cho Chang.

Domhnall Gleeson is going to need someone steady by his side as his career explodes with "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," and we think Katie Leung -- who went to school for art and design in London, and performs regularly onstage -- is just the woman for the job.

  2. Professors Snape and Trelawney.

Okay, okay -- so Alan Rickman and Emma Thompson are both married. But the duo was so great together in "Love Actually" (and apart in "Harry Potter") that we can't help but write a little bit of fan fiction. Just imagine the uber-intelligent, oh-so-British conversations!

  3. Bellatrix Lestrange and Sirius Black.

Unfortunately for our souls, Helena Bonham Carter recently split from Tim Burton -- and Gary Oldman is in the process of divorcing wife number four. And could there possibly be a better way to soften the blow of number four than by retreating to the arms of the woman who killed you?

  4. Dean Thomas and Fleur Delacour.

... For no other reason than Alfie Enoch and Clémence Poésy would look fierce together.

  5. Hermione Granger and Neville Longbottom.

Emma Watson won pretty much every jackpot life has to offer -- she's whip-smart, uber-talented, and of course, crazy beautiful. Her pal Matthew Lewis obviously knows this, and of course, we all know that he won the "Harry Potter" post-puberty jackpot as well... so why not put the two of them together? He's tweeted support for her UN HeForShe campaign and she's tweeted support for his post-"Potter" career, so we'll just let the two lovebirds take it from here. It was written in the stars.

  6. Ginny and Fred Weasley.

You have to keep the ginger gene going, and George already got to live, so James Phelps gets the metaphoric golden snitch that is Bonnie Wright.

  7. All three Lavender Browns.

Kathleen Cauley ("Chamber of Secrets"), Jennifer Smith "Prisoner of Azkaban," and Jessie Cave ("Azkaban" and forward) all have something pretty major in common -- like, how no one really remembers that their character died in the Battle of Hogwarts. Maybe they should talk about it over a glass of red and see where things go...

  8. Colin Creevey and Nymphadora Tonks.

Colin Creevey had a pretty rough break -- not only did he die in the BoH in the books, but he wasn't even mentioned in the film series after "Chamber of Secrets." Who better to console actor Hugh Mitchell than Natalia Tena, who similarly disappeared from "Game of Thrones?"

  9. Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy.

    SORRY NOT SORRY.
