Adam Levine does sing in his song "Sugar" that he needs a little sweetness in his life, but he may have gotten more than he bargained for.
While signing autographs for fans prior to performing on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Wednesday, the Maroon 5 frontman was hit in the side of the face with a giant bag of white powdered sugar, according to reports.
Adam did not look very happy about the incident (can you blame him?) and quickly went inside -- but not before some fans got pictures of the incident and posted them on Instagram.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the prankster, who allegedly is the same person that threw a rock at Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson last week, was arrested.
"Immediately after the incident occurred, 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' security followed protocol and alerted LAPD, who responded quickly and are looking into the situation," a rep for Kimmel told THR.
