One minute Katy Perry's drumming up controversy in Taiwan on her Prismatic tour, the next she's posing with Jeremy Scott, Madonna, and Diplo on the Met Gala red carpet. One minute she has a "Kris Jenner" inspired pixie cut, the next minute (almost literally) she has a cropped chartreuse shag. Don't remember that look? That's because it just happened and without many of us even knowing.

Let's rewind a hot second. Before the Met Gala, Katy posted the above photo to Instagram—a closet of cropped, colorful wigs—with the caption, "Who shall I be tonight [Shon Hyungsun Ju]?! #TheMet"

We thought the answer to that question was "Kris Jenner" after seeing KP arrive at the Met Gala in this graffiti-covered Moschino gown and that short black pixie, but Katy, of course, always has a way of surprising us.

Heading into one of the night's many after-parties, Katy walked arm in arm with Jeremy Scott in a brand new outfit—this time a graffiti-covered coat—and a brand new 'do.

Here's a better look. The new wig maintains the same messy crop of the first but is this time rendered in an unconventional chartreuse shade.

Was it just for the night or will Katy be pulling from these pixie wigs more often? Only time will tell!
