Finally! We can listen to Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea's collaboration, "Pretty Girls." The track is out Monday (May 4), after the two debuted it in a mystery car driving around Los Angeles on Sunday.
The long-awaited song, with its bouncy bass and Charli XCX-esque vocals, brings out our favorite side of Brit -- the sassy, commanding side. "All around the world, pretty girls/ Wipe the floor with all the boys/ Pour the drinks, bring the noise/ We're just so pretty," Spears sings, in a badass, descending melody. The lyrics have a hint of misandry, which is so *in* right now.
The reaction online is mixed, but here's what fans are saying:
Here are the sassiest lyrics:
All around the world, pretty girls/ Wipe the floor with all the boys
They can laugh, but they don't get the jokes/ Just you watch, they're so predictable
Tell me, is it true that these men are from Mars?/ Is that why they be acting bizarre?
Jaws on the ground/ (Watch them go)/ It's just so funny/ (Like bees to the honey!)
